One of the many forwards I receive. . ..

I recieved this in a email that was forwarded to me. Don't get me wrong I love forwards when they are cute, funny, cool and inspirational. This one I read and loved. And thought everyone, if I know you or not, should read this. So enjoy!

$20.00
Sometimes we just need to be reminded!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00bill. In the room of 200,
he asked, ' Who would like this $20 bill? ' Hands started going up.He said, ' I am going to give
this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. '

He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.He then asked, ' Who still wants it? ' Still the
hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, ' What if I do this? ' And he dropped it on the ground
and startedto grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.'
Now, who still wants it? 'Still the hands went into the air.‘
My friends, we have all learned a very
valuable lesson.’ ‘No matter whatI did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not
decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives,we are dropped, crumpled, and
ground into the dirt by the decisions wemake and the circumstances that come our way. We feel
as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never
lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who
DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO
WE ARE and WHAT WE ARE.You are special!-Don't EVER forget it ‘ If you do not pass this on,
you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can
bring. Count your blessings, not your problems.

Getting more active. . .

Just this pass week Jon heard of The Front Climbing club from his co-worker. We went and checked it out and loved it. We are now members. It's not exactly like the pictures show. It a club more for bouldering, meaning without ropes and not as high. They have hundreds of different options to climb, from really easy to extremely advance. It's a great workout and it motivates you to see others who have done it for a while and can climb with ease, to get where you want to be one of those people. After just the first time of climbing my abs, arms and back were sore. Can't wait to be able to to the extremely advanced paths.

That is not all that we have gotten involved in recently. Shawn, Jon's brother asked if we wanted to play indoor soccer, and of course I wouldn't pass up the chance to play a little soccer. We asked to be put on the waiting list for the co-ed season with the indoor soccer center in Murray. Well we just found out on Tuesday that we made it in! YAY! So we have our first game on the 14th. Maybe if we get a good turn out for players we will do another season after our first.

Video games. . . are fun to play together as a family.

I was never into playing or watching the video games that Jon and his brothers or friends would play together. They seemed boring to me. But I found out that there is a game out there for everyone.

The pass couple of weeks I have gotten into video games on the xbox 360. The first game we got for me was Harry Potter. Jon swears that movie spinoff games are not good at all. Well I love it. hahaha! It is a lot of fun to play. And you can tell that they added details to the story that was not included in the movie but was in the book. The kiss between Harry and Cho is even in the game. But if you want to have fun with the kids and figure out some puzzles and you have a xbox 360, you should tryout this game.

Since Jon had signed up for xbox live he has been playing live with some co-workers. So one day we got the newest Call of Duty: World at War. Jon had played it at a friends house but not on xbox live and also heard for his co-workers how much fun it is to play on xbox live. He played the game on xbox live and he was glued for the night. hahaha! He really did enjoy it. It was a good purchase. But I don't think I will play the game, it's not really my type. :)

Then one Friday I came home having a not so enjoyful of a day I said lets go and get another game to get my mind off of what was bringing my day down. So Jon and I went to Game Crazy and couldn't really find anything other than the Guitar Hero that was sitting in the middle of the store. It was the complete set of guitar, microphone and drum set. We also bought a used copy of Rockband. Jon and I played it with Anthony for about 10 hours. It was a lot of fun. My favorite part to play is the drums and then the base. With my short fingers the guitar gets a little hard for me. lol

One thing that would make the greatest band game is if they took the songs off of Guitar Hero World Tour and put them on Rockband.

Changes that came and are coming. . .

So, a few weeks ago, I said that I would put up an updated picture of my finished ring. Well, here it is with the blue saphires. I was without a ring on for about 3 weeks while the jeweler was putting in the saphires!!!!!! We got to keep the the diamonds that the blue saphires replaced. And we are planning that we will have those diamonds mounted in an earring set, and we want to give to our baby girl in the future (hopefully).

Another change that happened, I chopped my hair off! In the end my hair was shoulder length, with a long side bang. I was amazed how much lighter my head felt, after she had cut off about 6 inches. It has been a nice change. It take's less time to blow dry my hair and it saves on how much shampoo I use. haha! I know, I always said that I wouldn't cut my hair short but it was on impulse. On the bright side it will save money if I want to grow it out again. lol

The most exciting change in the family. . . . .

During the holidays we found out that two of our sisters are expecting. Holli and Ike are expecting a baby boy on May 21st. Lacey and Joe are due on August 28. It is exciting that Holli and Lacey, who have been best friends since they were young, get to experience the miracle of pregency together. We are so excited for both of them. Congratulations to you both! We love you!
